Terms & Conditions of use:
Applications
All information given on the application form must be true and
accurate.
Retain the Smartcard deposit receipt as a copy of the transaction
and a record of the card number.
Refunds
Newlands Coach Service Limited will provide a full refund of deposit
if the Smartcard is presented by the registered cardholder in resaleable
condition at the Newlands Coach Service Offices.
When money remains in credit on the Smartcard, the total will be
refunded.
Card Holder Obligations
It is the responsibility of the cardholder to ensure that the Smartcard
remains in working order.
The cardholder must ensure:
- That the card is not defaced, vandalised or damaged in any manner
- The card is not altered, modified or otherwise tampered with
It is the responsibility of the cardholder to notify Newlands Coach
Service Ltd. of change in contact details.
Lost & Found Cards
Loss of a Smartcard must be reported to Newlands Coach Service
Ltd. immediately. The card can be automatically hotlisted
barring all users from access to the stored value.
Any Smartcard found should either be handed to a driver or sent
to the Newlands Coach Service office.
Malfunctioning Cards
If a fault occurs on a Smartcard the driver will return the card
to the Newlands Coach Service office. In return for the card the
driver will issue a form receipt for the customer to retain and
use until the card is returned.
(If the Smartcard holder is under the age of 18, it is the responsibility
of the caregiver to ensure he/she reads and understands the terms
and conditions above)
